Leonard Peltier Transferred to Canann US Penitentiary, Receives Beating and Isolation

A representative Who is Leonard Peltier, Carrie, was interviewed today on KBOO's Mitakuye Oyasin. Leonard was transferred on 1/12/09 to Canaan US Penitentiary. He was beaten badly by other inmates, then put into solitary. He received only one meal that day, which is another potential health hazard for him since he is diabetic.
